I think about the picture on the left every Easter season. All great kids! But I remember feeling so sad for Colette being by herself on that step 🙁 It’s been amazing how many more kids and families we’ve been able to reach over years of work by faithful leader. Shortly after this, Sharon proposed starting PreK Wiggling Worship (another 15 or so kids downstairs and not in the picture), and after that grew, Jolene & Lauren launched 252 Kids Church. We built an addition with new kids spaces… Some of us had more kids, and right now it’s not uncommon on Sundays to have 50 kids getting age-appropriate teaching about the Gospel and character-building. I’m really thankful for our hard working leaders, and I’m thankful to be a part of a community that values feeding Jesus’ little ones.
